Find an original kopi Luwak distributor who has a Certification of Authenticity (CoA) from Indonesia’s government body, that officially monitors and supervises nationwide coffee and cocoa plantation: Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Institute (ICCRI).

So what happens when you order only small amount, say, 100 grams of kopi Luwak?
ICCRI issues one CoA in a every bulk of 1 kilogram of packaging. The certification of 1 kilogram of coffee Luwak consists of:
- 10 bags of coffee with 100 grams each, or…
- 4 bags of coffee with 250 grams each, or…
- 1 bag of coffee Luwak of 1 kilogram
CoA has a serial number. For example, if you order only 100 grams, you will only get one copy (not the original CoA document) of certificate which describe your bag of coffee as a part of 1 kilogram as a whole.
If you order the entire 1 kilogram as a whole, you will get original CoA.
To simplify things, let’s say that the ICCRI Certificate for 1 kilogram of kopi Luwak has a serial number from A01 to A10, which consists of 10 bags of 100 grams each.
Each bag will bear a number that falls within A01 to A10, which guarantee that those 10 bags are registered as a single crop, processing, and origin, and certified into one single document.

The bag’s outer and aluminum foil packaging are attached with a document that details its registration number, that corresponds with the original Attestation of Origin document.
